Distance Education Survey Results

The seven participants have collectively substantial experience with courses  delivered in a variety of formats.  They were most interested in taking courses involving computers compared to other formats (rating mean 5.6 compared to about 3 for other formats).  The most popular reasons for taking courses were for personal interest and for professional upgrading.  On average they devoted about a day a week on their continuing education studies in addition to working.  About half were employed full-time and half part-time (average 29 hours pre week). The survey responses are indicated below enclosed in brackets [ ] along with the mean response where appropriate.
